Available June 01, 2015 I am female, so I prefer a female roommate, but a GAY male roommate will be considered if you are respectful, considerate and clean. It is 2 bedrooms and 2 full baths upstairs and the half bath is downstairs. $500/month includes basic utilities (not internet). Potential deal-breakers first: - I am in recovery, so no alcohol or drugs are allowed in the house and I cannot tolerate a roommate who comes home drunk or high. However, you don't have to be in AA to be considered. I don't have a problem with people who drink occasionally. - Must love cats. I have two very old cats, one is very friendly and the other will probably hide for the first month or so you are here. You don't have to let them in your room (they have never been allowed in there anyway), but they have free roam of the rest of the apartment. Two pets is the max for my lease, sorry. - No Smoking. If you have a problem with any of those things, this would not be a good fit for you. The good stuff: The bedroom has plenty of space for a queen or king sized bed, side tables, floor lamp, dressers, etc. with extra space for things like a desk or TV. There is a private, full bath with shower and tub; there is also a separate vanity area with a sink. There is a full-size washer and dryer upstairs, which you are welcome to use. {Note: Room is not furnished, even though the photo shows a Queen-sized bed.) There's a small space in the apartment to workout. There is a breakfast bar off the kitchen and a very cozy fireplace in the living room. While there is no couch, the living room does currently sport 2 massage chairs. :) We are within a short bike ride of Uptown Westerville and all of its quaint shops and eateries. There is a park down the road and access to miles of bike trails. I do believe the bus runs down State Street and there is plenty of off-street parking right in front of the apartment. It is 5 minutes to I-270, and 8 minutes to Otterbein University.
